The Chainless Rockshox Pumptrack Challenge @ Crankworx Whistler 

Thursday night was the night. All the top Ladies and men from the Mountainbike scene have made their way up to Blackcomb to compete at the famous Rockshox Pumptrack Challenge and so am I. I was so happy to make it into finals, because there were so many top notch girls from the Mountainbike World in Qualifying, I had to step up the game to make it into the Red Bull Livestream.

The track was unusual. It was not a round course, it looked more like a BMX track. A super fast rhythm section in the beginning, followed by a corner in and a shark fin out of the circle into some rollers for the sprint over the finish line. I had a blast riding the track.

My competitor was no other than the Queen of Crankworx Jill Kintner. I didn’t feel too bad loosing against the Red Bull Lady. She is a freaking legend and I’m proud to get the chance to ride against her. In the end I finished on 6th. Not too bad for a lil freerider from Bavaria, or? 😉
